Advocacy
Advocacy is one way we live out our faith beyond the walls of the church. As followers of Jesus, we are called not only to serve our neighbors in need, but also to speak up alongside them—addressing the systems and policies that shape daily life, especially for those who are most vulnerable.
In the ELCA, advocacy flows from our baptismal calling: to strive for justice and peace in all the earth. Rooted in Scripture, shaped by Lutheran theology, and guided by love of neighbor, our advocacy ministry seeks the common good through faithful, informed, and hopeful engagement in the public square.
